Pole lathe turned wooden bowls

I make these bowls on the pole lathe using locally found hardwood’s.

I love the feel of them and they are my favourite to use everyday for any meal

The style of this bowl is styled on 19th century wooden bowls typical of Wales. I have adapted the design to how I like it. They are at once extremely simple and yet grand.

The rim of the bowl has a chamfered bevel on the rim and the tool marks are left remaining.

These pole lathe turned wooden bowls are fully seasoned and finished with organic cold pressed raw linseed oil
