Beech bowl inspired by some examples of English medieval bowls

This bowl is made from local slightly spalted beechwood with clean and crisp tool marks

Turned on my pole lathe

Diameter – 8 1/2 inches
Height – 2 1/2 inches

I made two of these bowls as a pair, from each side of the same log. The other bowl is shown in the gallery images. For comparison the first bowl is oiled and the second is not. I can sell both together
