Throughout 2013 I undertook a year long art residency at The Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales.


The project was informed by the eco-purpose of the centre and the role of creative engineering in alternative technologies.


As a part of the project I built a large timber framed - lathe 'wood-turning' machine and used it to construct and combine a series of monumental wooden sculptures for exhibition.
